The Career
Own all Beauty Brands in all the markets and region. Responsible for the strategic management of the brands and meeting budgeted sales and profit goals. Develop strategic brand plans by country - develop the Marketing and Advertising programs to maximize each brand's revenues. Distributor Management - work with distributors on the development of the brands assortment, pricing and promotion. Once the line is sold in, work with Distributors on seasonal promotional, marketing, and advertising plans - PR, Social Media, advertising. Product Assortment for each brand - develop the Product assortment to fulfill sales goals and customer's needs. Establish Retail Prices - In conjunction with the Regional Sales Director, establish recommended Retail Prices, and wholesale COG targets. Develop and execute Brand marketing plan - what support is needed for each brand to hit its financial goals. Brand Manager owns the planning and execution of the marketing events that drive sales. In-store execution - lead the Visual Marketing and Corporate Marketing teams in the development of all in-store materials, from fixturing, to signage, to collateral materials, to ensure brand positioning are articulated and sales goals are met. Sell-in - be the Brand Champion, travel with Sales team to present lines and promotions to key Retailers in an honest, compelling manner. Competitive Awareness - be the Market expert. In each country, know the competition, know the retailers, and understand each sales channel in order to maximize line placement. Analytics - interpret Sell-in and Sell-thru sales data, as well as EuroMonitor reports to understand the effectiveness of each product, line, and promotion. Use that information promptly to inform decisions on promotions, pricing and product lines-ups. Provide Product Development feedback to Corporate Marketing department - Articulate the strategic product and shade needs for your region. Trend - on top of relative fashion and social trends in your Markets, and have the ability to articulate these trends to cross-functional partners. The Requirement
Qualified candidates must have Bachelors' Degree in Marketing or related field. 3 to 7 years of work experience in Marketing, with at least 2 years of brand management experience (Color Cosmetics is a strong plus). Fluent in English and Mandarin is required. Japanese and Korean is a plus. Passion - to be the brand champion, and instill that passion to others. Strong leadership in establishing work priorities for multiple projects, accepting responsibility, developing confidence & respect, and shifting priorities to accommodate change. Creative problem solving by developing data analysis, demonstrating strong financial acumen, identify trends and suggesting result-oriented action plans. A thorough understanding of interactive communications and can build and foster trust across functional groups. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel/ Power Point/ Word.
