eCommerce Business Analyst - Guangzhou

The Career

Summary:

Responsible for seeking the e-commerce business opportunity for short-term & long-term,

monitoring competitor’s actions (incl. NPD, pricing & promotion strategy and product strategy) and also following the company’s e-commerce business relevant categories, industries, platform new trends in Chinese E-commerce contests.


Assist different e-commerce business leader to developing project or product-based strategy and tactic. Following the result to develop the “work or no-work” guideline for future.


Specifically, the e-commerce business analyst is responsible for existing E-commerce channel & product strategy and tactic optimization, summaries the consumer insight and category trends for innovation program to achieve the company financial objectives.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing national E-commerce channel strategies and tactics upon overall company’s China mainland strategy, including:

  • Develop & optimize E-commerce channel plan & proposal according to the fiscal year & company 3-year LRP (long range plan)

  • Review different E-retailers profile at half-yearly basis. Drive China E-retailer customer segmentation


Responsible for monitoring different competitor of category basis, provide the reviews and action strategy, following the execution to final result then deliver the best practice to other brand/ category implication:

  • Assist e-commerce business leader to develop key competitor’s review in quarterly then monthly plans as a way of implementing action plan; be able to quickly adapt & tailor corporate plans into action solutions (e.g., product position revamp, assortments, channel strategy, etc.)

  • Continually track the detail execution result, input the optimized suggestion.

  • Arrange & integrate data/ execution to the implication of project or product, energize & adopt learning for another brand/ category.

Responsible for tracking the platform & industry new trends, to develop pilot program, or summarize the new product insights for future innovation development:

  • Whenever new trends come can be able to quickly adapt into our relevant action plans.

  • Further deep drill the Chinese e-commerce consumer behaviors/ needs/ insights to input to our future innovation.


The Requirement

  • Minimum 8 years of experiences in business planning or e-commerce sales in multi-national

  • Sensitive business sense and excellent logic to consolidate thoughts.

  • Strong consumer insights seeking and digging.

  • Curiosity of fresh and dare to try.

  • Strong ability of information gathering and integration

  • Entrepreneurial-spirit and comfortable with ambiguity.

  • Ability to effectively work with people with different backgrounds.

  • Proficiency in computer application, fluent spoken and written English is a must.
