The Career
Develop and lead the research and development team to build a highly engaged customer focused and technical workforce capable of delivering innovative products and solutions for customers. Drive R&D strategy and action plans. Create and manage a portfolio of projects encompassing new product development, innovation, and technical solutions. Building and utilizing the connectivity relationship with each functional team and costumer to transfer the knowledge and information to commercial team, and identify opportunities to work with BU's and resources across the globe and externally. Ensure deployment and execution of all critical processes and systems in the R&D function. Act as an active coach and developer of talent to create the most innovative, technically competent and customer focused team in the industry.
The Requirement Qualified Candidate must have University Degree in Marketing, Food Technology, Food Engineering or related discipline. Related work experience at least 15 years with proven inside 5 years sales experience. Relevant industry experience. Must have good communication skills. Proven experience on how to get things done within a matrix organization. Experience with building and engaging cross functional and multi- cultural team. Able to communicate and work effectively with the company overseas resources. Experience at building competitive advantage through the use of organization's technical capabilities and by providing product innovation and creative solutions. Able to effectively make the business case for addition of new capabilities. Ability to identify and translate industry/market trends into new opportunities and solutions for existing and new costumers markets. Ability to assess strengths and weakness of the competition and develop product and market positioning strategies.
