Career Summary:
This role oversees the brand's overall performance through strategic planning, purchasing and subsequent monitoring of sales and inventory.
Strategic Buying: Drive SPF growth, optimize P/L and ending inventory, and develop merchandising plans based on sales and trend forecasts for men’s/women’s product lines.
Buying Optimization: Improve accuracy by determining category percentages, selecting styles and colors, and monitoring sales through visual merchandising and promotional activities.
Supplier and Production Management: Coordinate with Production for quality and costing, manage discount rates and pricing, and forecast sales demand for men’s/women’s product lines.
Budget and Performance: Meet sales budget and gross profit targets, review and endorse buy plans, and ensure efficient fabric usage and reservations.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture, and provide timely product evaluations.
Requirements:
Degree or higher in Fashion Retailing, Statistics, Supply Chain, Finance & Accounting, or related disciplines.
Demonstrated strong business acumen with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
Expertise in buying and planning within high fashion or luxury brands.
Strong networking, interpersonal, and communication skills, proficient in MS Excel.
Flexibility to work extended hours when necessary.
Proficient in written and spoken Cantonese is a must.
